Didn’t expect to be served by Kyle Glanville, 2008 US Barista Championship. Despite all the hype over the Venice Coffeebar, for a number of reasons I prefer the Silver Lake Coffeebar on Sunset Blvd. more. The espresso is better and the place seems less commercialized. I have a delish single-origin spro (Yirg), followed by a macc (Black Cat I presume).
From here, onto West Hollywood to shop before the deluge. Then, take cover at LACMA… I thought it never rains in Southern CA ?
